Here's  A  510 That Jordan Found Over in Pasco it's a 2-Door as you Can see In The Pictures Below it's A 71 510 we Got It real cheap Jordan and I (Ron Koenig ) Split the Cost of the Car All we have To Do now is getting it to run Jordan is Our (Vice President) This picture is where it was parked. it has a 1600CC Motor And Borg-Warner Automatic Transmission it's all Original the car has not been on the road since 1986 (it was parked for what Reason We are not sure) we are hoping it was because of a bad starter and not any thing more serious Like motor or Transmission Cross your Fingers and let's hope for the Best The car Was parked in the picture Below next to the Truck in the picture where's There just an open space Now where a 510 set wasting away  not  a good Way to Die I was going to take pictures of where it was Parked but I forgot

This picture is where it was parked

Jordan was Driving out to go Work on Some farm equipment as he Spotted this 510 as he was driving By this farm house and decided to Stop and See what the Story was on the car the people that owned the car said it was parked because of the starter or flywheel They didn't Remember Which. He was wanting part's for his car as he noticed it was very strait and was a shame to part it out. So he called me about and asked What I thought of the idea About buying The car for the Club ?  I said that it sounded good to me so  I think I could help Buy it so we spit the cost of it down the Middle. With it not Running  I had to tow it back home so I asked a friend of mine if he would let me borrow his car Trailer he never loans it out to anyone but he let me borrow it so I put some gas in my big Ford F-350 Super Cab Pickup and Drove over to Pasco Washington  about 25miles outside Of  the  town  Of Pasco it was in a bad spot so to get it out I had to Disconnect The Truck From the trailer and hooked up a Chain To the Back of the 510 and As you would guess this one did not have the hooks on the Back so we had to hook it to the rear end Differential as the only safe place to put the chain so as not to damage the Body so then we pulled it out so that we can get it onto the trailer with 2 Flat Tires I Thank  God that My Friend has a winch on his trailer so much easier them pushing it on to the Trailer By Hand Not!!

So Now We got it On the Trailer So we had to Wait for The People To get Back From Town As we looked through The car to see what Neat Things we can Find In The car The interior in the car Is toast So We are going to use some Seat's out Of one of my parts cars that I Have Out here on My Property Out Here in Eastern Oregon as We Arrived at home it was apparent That we Where not Going to Push it off So I Used My Little 4-wheel Drive Putt Putt to Put a Chain on the Back of The  Car And Was Able to get The Car off The Trailer  so I could Return the Trailer  My Friend I Had to Have It Back by Noon and it was close But we Made it in time so as I got Back we found that there was More to getting  it running then we thought But I have Faith in Jordan that He  will Get It going so we took  the tires off the parts car I have that use to be my daily Driver that We have been Parting out took the Weber off the Wrecked 510 and put it on the one Pictured Below we think that we got a steal On it we are hoping to have it Running For the show We are crossing are Fingers and hoping that it Will Be Ready. all of the seat's need to be replaced as they are just falling a part

Pulling The Motor

Updates:

Here's some new pic's of the Club car and the progress to get it running Yesterday we pulled the 510 over to My friend Bruce's to start work on it first we just started to take the bolts out of the radiator so we can clear the front of the motor so as we Work on the car my Daughter's Tammy and Candy Where helping me get the car ready to pull the motor to put the flywheel on it so as we worked on it we had all the bolts out of it and the only thing that was left where the bolts on the exhaust as I work on them the first one snapped then the second and then the third one so we are going to have to drill them out to put it back together as we got the motor out and put the flywheel on I was Noticing that there was not much compression on 1-2-3  #4 Was The best one of the 4 cylinders so Bruce and me pulled the head and checked out the head every thing look good however the timing chain need to be replaced and some other parts too. most every thing looked good oil ring's where shot but that is common for a motor that has not been started for 17 yrs that's a very long time to set unused so I will let you know how the progress goes on the rebuild and there will be more photo's coming
