Welcome To Blue Diamond Collies Best View in 1024 X 768 In The Majestic State of Colorado
My family and I love our Collies. We have had collies now for 10 years. We started off with one sable and white male . His name was Wassie. He got his name from our first son who is a Down Syndrome child . When he first saw the puppy, he tried to say Lassie, but it came out Wassie,so that became his name. The day after we got him we couldn't find him anywhere. We put an ad in the paper with a reward, but didn't get any calls. Our son was heart broken that his Wassie was gone. We decided right away we needed to get another collie for him. That's when we bought our second male and named him Flash. He was also a s able and white male and the brother to Wassie. Three days after we brought Flash home, we got a call that Wassie was found. Wassie was a very loving and loyal pup and loved to talk to our son. He would bark at him, always wanting to be hugged or petted. Our daughter, who was nine at the time, was the one who named our other pup Flash. She named him that because he was so playful and energetic. She taught him many commands . She later used her knowledge to teach our other collies commands, and even enter them in 4-H projects. Right away we decided to become more familiar with the breed, and started getting other blood lines into our collies. Collies are a special breed of their own. They have such good temperaments, behavior, and easily understand what is taught to them. They are very intelligent animals. They learn obedience like sit, stay, down, and other commands very quickly. What I love the most is their loyalty and patience. They are such good companions for the elderly and great for children. Our collies are bred with these qualities in mind. They love the outdoors and are very playful If Interested Please contact me at My E-mail link above
