Hi I'm Ron Koenig The (Web Master) I arrived at 9:30 with two other Cars from my club the Eastern Oregon Datsun Owners as we Registered are Cars and I Started to take pic's of the car's there I was amazed to see a flood of Datsuns/Nissans come rolling into the park 510's, Roadster's, 1200's, Z's, and Trucks And others
all the food was ready and the BBQ Was on there was hotdogs and hamburgers and chips soda and other Goodies There Where a lot of door Prize's for the Raffle at one point there was a long line at the BBQ waiting for there burger or hotdog as the cook was not able to keep up with them as they kept on coming in. It was one hell of show hope to see all you and bring a friend

The 18th Annual Blue Lake Show-N-Shine
Well it's finally here
Dear Members & Friends of NW-Z,
On Sunday, June 8th, NW-Z attended the NW Datsun Owners Meet at Blue
Lake Park east of Portland. It was a great event! I have to thank the
sponsors for all their work putting on the gathering. GREAT WORK GUYS!
160+ cars attended, a record for this event. Approximately 40 were Z
cars of all vintages. I saw an all original 1970 240 (with 35K original
miles on it) spanning to the 2003 track model, with everything in
between.
And, oh my, some outrageous 1600 and 2000 roadsters, some superb 510's
and even some electric powered Datsun's (one turns a 12 second 1/4
mile!).
NW-Z did very well in the award category. Of six awards for Z cars,
NW-Z members and friends won five! These included:
1st Place, Joe Daniels' yellow 1971 240Z
1st Place, Clint and Vicci Barntz blue 1976 2+2
280Z
2nd Place, Don Hoen, white 1977 280Z
1st Place, Gregory Ernst, silver 1990 TT 300ZX
2nd Place, Lance McIlnay, blue 1990 2+2NA
